About our studio.
Gretta was founded in Austin in 2011 on a simple belief: a building should fit the life happening inside it. Fifteen years later, that's still the only brief we work from.

Craft first, always.
We design slowly and build carefully. Every material choice is weighed against how it ages, every plan is tested against how a family or a crew actually moves through a day. Sustainability isn't a checklist for us — it's passive cooling, durable materials, and buildings meant to be lived in for generations, not renovated every decade.
That philosophy comes from our founder, Priya Ramanathan, who leads every project personally from first sketch to final walkthrough.
